Midwest Faculty Seminar:
The Center for Teaching Excellence
periodically sponsors faculty members to attend the Midwest
Faculty Seminar in Chicago. A variety of topics are presented.
In this week's Update from the Center
(April 17th CTE Update), Professor Michael
Hustedde reports on his experience in exploring troubled waters.
He concludes:
"I strongly encourage my colleagues here
at SAU to take advantage of the MFS if a topic comes up
that is of interest. The people involved are well worth
getting to know and the location of the seminar (some
wonderful bookstores await a visit) provides a
stimulating atmosphere for the participants.
