St. Ambrose University Dance Team would like to invite you to attend the upcoming tryout to fill positions for the Fall 2010 / Spring 2011 school year.

When - Potential dancers need to attend only ONE of the three dates listed
Saturday, February 27 - starting at 12 p.m.

Saturday, March 6 - starting at 10 a.m.
-- Please plan to attend the Spring Show on Friday, March 5th, 7:30 p.m.!

Saturday, March 20 - starting at 12 p.m.

Attire
Dance clothes - Be able to move (no street wear)
Prefer jazz pants and jazz/dance sneaker shoes.

• Paperwork
• Stretch-out
• Floor exercises
  • Kicks (Right/Left sides)
  • Turns:
    • Double Pirouettes (Right/Left sides)
    • Triple Pirouettes (Right/Left sides)
    • Pique (Right/Left sides)
    • Grande / Fuette Combo
  • Leaps:
    • Straight (Right/Left sides)
    • Center (Right/Left sides)
    • Switch (Right/Left sides)
    • Axel (Right side)
    • Calipso (Right/Left sides)
  • Learn two short routines
    • Two different styles
    • Perform routines in small groups
