Dance squad wins event in Iowa College Dance Championships

The 2007-2008 St. Ambrose University dance squad won 1st place in the 2nd Annual Iowa College Dance Championships held on November 30th. The team beat 18 different colleges in the Division AA Jazz category. St. Ambrose competed against Grand View, Simpson, Morningside, Mt. Mercy and many others. The dance team was comprised of seven members: Jaclyn Braun, Casey Brenne, Maggie Coleman, Rachel Hodgson, Deziree Markham, Megan Reid and Jade Wubben. Since this was their very first dance competition, the SAU dance squad is off to a very strong start.
