Arun Pillutla is an Assistant Professor of Management at St.
Ambrose University. He received his Ph.D. from Washington State University in
Strategic Management and Organization Theory. Arun joined the faculty at
St. Ambrose in the Fall of 1999.
His research interests include domestic and international joint
ventures, competition and competitive advantage, total quality management, and
organizational learning. He is currently working on a research project exploring
the role of organizational learning in the success or failure of total quality
management practices.
Arun received his bachelor's degree from Osmania University in
Hyderabad, India. He also holds a MS from the Indian Institute of Foreign
Trade in New Delhi.
Arun's teaching interests include Strategic Management &
Business Policy, Organization Theory, and Comparative International Management.
Prior to pursuing doctoral studies, Arun worked for Asea Brown
Boveri (ABB), a multinational company with global headquarters in Switzerland.
At ABB he was responsible for international business development and execution
(export and import) of electrical engineering projects in South Asia. |
