Master of Education in
Teaching
Admission Requirements
- Must possess a valid teaching
license.
- Must have earned a minimum 2.75 GPA
based on a 4.0
scale, during last two (junior and senior) years of
undergraduate
studies.
- Two letters of recommendation from
school administrators
or fellow teachers.
- Official transcripts from the
undergraduate degree-granting
institution and all institutions where graduate work has
been completed.
Transfer Credit
Students may transfer up to a maximum of 9 graduate credits
providing these credits are approved by the program
director,
and that they are not more than five years old.
Degree Candidacy
Candidates for the master of education degree must
successfully
meet the following criteria:
- Make steady progress toward
completion of the degree.
- Complete all course work as set forth
in the degree program.
- Earn a minimum “B” average in the
degree program.
- Obtain no more than one “C” grade in
the degree plan of
study offset with an “A” grade.
