Kappa Delta Pi

Looking for a group of people with a strong interest in the teaching profession? 

Students interested in pursuing teaching as a career are encouraged to seek admission to Kappa Delta Pi. Kappa Delta Pi is an honorary educational association designed to recognize those who have contributed to the field of education. 

In order to qualify for admission, students must have completed 45 semester credits including at least 12 hours of education courses. A St. Ambrose cumulative GPA of 3.25 is required along with letters of recommendation from faculty members and current Kappa Delta Pi members.

Student Chapter of  the Council for Exceptional Children - Chapter 266

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is an international organization whose mission is to improve educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities.

Students at SAU, whether preparing to enter the teaching profession or a related field, are invited to become members of our student chapter of CEC.
