 So what can you do with an English degree?
You
might be surprised. As an English major at St. Ambrose, you'll
develop skills that employers in all fields value: the ability to think
critically and creatively, to organize ideas and imagine solutions, and to
communicate effectively.
Here, you'll explore a wide variety of genres and periods, from
Shakespeare to science fiction, providing you with a broad understanding
of our diverse humanity and the world around us. Our business and
technical writing courses prepare you for the workplace, and our writing
courses allow you to explore your creativity and ideas.
