Applying for Summer loans
If
you will be taking summer courses and are enrolled at least half-time (6
hours for an undergraduate or 3 hours for a graduate level), you may be
eligible for Federal Stafford Loans. There is no institutional aid
for Summer classes, only loans.
Make sure you have filed your 2007-08 FAFSA
for the current academic year. We will need this information to
process your loan.
The amount of loan you request may not be
the amount you receive. You are limited to a semester's worth of a
Federal Stafford Loan as long as it fits within your cost of attendance
budget for summer.
Complete the Summer Loan Request Form at the
link below and return it to our office. We will process it as soon
as you are enrolled for your summer classes.
The last day to apply for a Summer
Loan is July 11th.
