Her lyrics never shy away from political content as she blends a serious perspective about social and political observations with upbeat music. Her broad palette of musical styles include native Haitian compass, twoubdou and rara along with jazz, rock, bossa nova and samba. In France and Haiti she is hailed as a musical icon—an icon you’ll never forget.
