One of the “better pleasure palaces in all of Texas” must shut down when a crusading TV personality shines his indignant Watchdog Spotlight on it. Governors, senators, mayors and even college football players feel the loss as Miss Mona and the other ladies prepare to leave the fabled Chicken Ranch. Based on a true story, this lively and charming stage musical is performed by the award-winning St. Ambrose Theatre Department.
