This talented group of world-renowned Klezmer musicians emerged out of the vibrant cultural scene of New York’s East Village in 1986. Making music that combines contemporary humanistic themes with eclectic musical influences, they have performed all over the world, and have worked with such diverse artists as Ben Folds, Itzhak Perlman and Allen Ginsberg. They won the 2006 Grammy award for Best Contemporary World Music Album for their CD “Wonder Wheel.” www.klezmatics.com
