Knowledge is power. History
students at St. Ambrose learn how to become citizens of the world by learning
the connections between the past, present and future.
History students gain a systematic
approach by which to solve problems. Investigative and analytical skills
can be applied in teaching and non-teaching environments.
Students majoring in history can
apply their knowledge to many professions, including public relations,
advertising and journalism. Ambrose history grads have gone on to have
careers in the government, law, higher education and business.
