Minutes
Meeting of February 20, 2004
Present: Allison Ambrose, Ann Preston, Randy Richards Theresa Schlabach, Jon Stauff. (chair)
Agenda items included: the description of the Educational Policies Committee, the description and charge of the Academic Support Committee, and the Grievance Procedure.
Randy Richards moved to add the phrase “the curriculum of” to the description of the Educational Policies Committee. Allison Ambrose seconded, motion carried.
The addition to the Academic Support Committee of an assessment function as per accreditation requirements was moved, seconded and approved.
Handbook committee members discussed and achieved consensus that a unified faculty grievance procedure is desirable. The grievance procedure should include a reference to an appendix containing the sexual harassment policy.
The Handbook Committee will meet with a representative of the Faculty Finance Committee at 7 a.m. Thursday, February 26, and with the Student Life Committee in March.
