Faculty Finance Committee
Dr. John Barr, Chair of the Faculty Finance Committee, met with the Faculty Handbook Committee on Thursday, February 26, to continue dialogue on possible revisions to the description of the Faculty Finance Committee. The Committee shared its work-in-progress with Dr. Barr, and the ensuing discussion featured many frank exchanges of opinions and views about the role of the Faculty Finance Committee in the shared governance structure of the University.
Dr. Barr made some suggestions to our committee about our work, and we agreed to meet again in the not-too-distant future with the entire Faculty Finance Committee present to continue our discussion.
The Committee thanks Dr. Barr for his willingness to join us so early in the morning, and we look forward to the next opportunity to collaborate with the FFC on our proposal.
