Requirements for Iowa Coaching Authorization The State of Iowa requires four major courses (or five equivalent non-credit bearing workshops) to receive a coaching authorization: EDUC 284 or PSYC 284 or PSYC 305 KIN 215 Basic Athletic Training BIOL 202 or KIN WI-361 or KIN 365 with Department Chair permission KIN 320 Theory and Ethics of Coaching or a Coaching Course (KIN 321, 322, 323, 324, 325, or 326) |
