     Writing intensive course.  After passing English 101 with a C or better, the student must pass, with a C or better, two Writing Intensive courses.  One may be at any level in any department, and one must be at the 300 or 400 level in the declared major (see the University Catalog for more information.)

  *    Students may meet some or all of the language requirement based on the amount of foreign language taken in high school   (see the University Catalog for more information).

 To earn a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree, the student must achieve a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 for the composite of credits satisfying the course requirements shown above (including a minimum GPA of 2.0 in engineering courses.)  A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be achieved in combination of credits at St. Ambrose University and attempted transfer credits.  MATH 191 and 192, or their equivalents, must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
