Experience the Real Ireland...and see the rest of Europe...in County Carlow!

SAU has established relationships with two colleges in Carlow, approximately fifty miles from Dublin and Dublin Airport, and developed several exciting international study opportunities for students who would like to would like to fulfill general education and major requirements.

SAU students live with Irish and European students while studying at St. Patrick's, Carlow College and the Institute of Technology, Carlow.

There is a program option for all students seeking general education courses, and specific opportunities exist for students interested in Nursing and Occupational Therapy (Fall semesters) and Business and Computer Science majors (Fall and Spring semesters).  Students in the Irish Studies minor program will find opportunities in both fall and spring semesters.

Ireland is a great stepping-off point for the rest of Europe.  Classes are scheduled so that students often have three-day weekends to explore the rest of the country and visit the UK and the "Continent."  Thanks to low-cost airlines at Dublin Airport, this travel is within the reach of a student's budget!

Take a look at the program details listed to the left and contact The Center for International Education for more information!
