Irish Studies Interdisciplinary Minor
The Irish Studies Interdisciplinary Minor
will enable students to acquire a richer understanding and appreciation of
the Irish and Irish-American experiences. The minor will
introduce students to:

Major trends and events in Irish and Irish-American
history.

Important themes in Irish literature.
-
Significant characteristics of Irish Christianity and Celtic
spirituality.
-
Different elements of Celtic and Irish culture.
-
The "Troubles" in Northern Ireland.
REQUIREMENTS
To fulfill the Irish Studies
Interdisciplinary Minor, students must complete at least 15 curricular
hours in courses approved for the minor in the following manner:
