Now is a great time to pursue an education in the math field, because of the shortages in math educators and statisticians. With the demands of technology, people with a strong mathematics background are becoming increasingly important.
Our recent math grads have taken positions at large companies in the Quad-Cities, including John Deere Health Care and Modern Woodman of America.
Math teachers show their students how to solve the problems of the future. Our math education majors spend at least three semesters working in a school before they even begin to student teach, and our grads are heavily recruited for fellowships at major graduate schools.
