Wilton's Ryan Ingstad signs with Bees

Davenport, IA - Coach Ray Shovlain is pleased to announce the signing of Jon Ingstad for the
2008-09 season. Ingstad, a senior at Wilton High School, has chosen to continue his basketball career with the Fighting Bees.

The 6'2, 170 pound guard averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game over his senior campaign. For his career, Ingstad shot 40% from beyond the arc and knocked down 66 three pointers. His three point shooting percentage ranks first all-time in Wilton's history and his scoring total of 631 points ranks fifth all-tome.

Over his senior campaign, Ingstad was recognized as 2nd team All-EIHC, made the all Substate team, was a Quad City Times Honorable mention selection, and was chosen as his team's defensive MVP.

In Ingstad's junior year, he was chosen as his team's offensive MVP and was again selected to the QC Times Eastern Iowa Honorable Mention team.

Ingstad is also an accomplished baseball player and was selected 2nd team all-conference as a junior. He is currently finishing up his senior year.
