Jeff Griebel - Head Coach

Jeff Griebel began his 26th season at St. Ambrose this fall. He has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year 14 times, and the NAIA Midwest Region 7 Coach of the Year 18 times.

During his tenure at St. Ambrose, Griebel has coached eight 1st Team All-Americans: Mike Crowley (1991), Skip Berkmeyer (1994), Bill Olson (1998), Kevin Pickerell (1999), Josh Nelson (2000), Joe Demory (2004 and 2005), and current Fighting Bee, Drew Chuipek (2006 and 2007).

Griebel has made the golf team one of the most successful programs in school history thanks to a third place finish in the NAIA in 2004 and a fourth place finish in 2006.

Griebel is a past president of the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches Association, and the current chair of the NAIA Men's Golf Midwest Region 7 and Midwest Classic Conference. He is a recipient of the Bob Fry Award from the Iowa Section PGA of America and was inducted into St. Ambrose University's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994.

Griebel also serves as Director of Sports Information and Coordinator of Athletic Recruitment at St. Ambrose.
