OVIEDO, SPAIN: The courses you take and the way
they transfer to SAU will be determined by the results of your placement test in
Oviedo. You will place in one of three intermediate levels or one of two
advanced levels. Even though you will take the placement test upon arriving in
Oviedo, most of the courses offered in each level are the same. Your SAU
Spanish advisor must pre-approve your courses before you go abroad. In
addition to the courses below, a service learning experience may be
possible. Twenty hours of service throughout the semester = 1 credit hour of
SVLN at SAU.
SEMESTER COURSES IN OVIEDO
If you place in one of three intermediate levels on the Oviedo placement
test, you will take FOUR of the following courses during the FALL semester, and
FIVE of the following courses during the SPRING semester:
