Study abroad can be not only a life transforming experience personally, but it can also equip you with a sophisticated knowledge of world affairs. You will be able to perfect your language skills as well as live the language in real everyday situations. It is a requirement for all students majoring in Spanish, French or German to study abroad for at least one semester through a St. Ambrose sponsored experience or through the various programs with which St. Ambrose has affiliation. Students pursuing a minor will participate in a two or three week experience abroad as a minimum or, preferably, a 6-8 week summer program.
