Portfolio Credit
St. Ambrose graduate programs may grant credit for education received outside of a degree program. Credit is awarded based on the standards set by the North Central Association.
To be accepted, the work must have taken place in an educational setting. No credit for "life experience" is granted. Credit is granted "after rigorous and documented evaluation of portfolio of original work products" such as reports, creative works, research papers, or theological reflections that clearly demonstrate the student's academic achievement.

No more that a total of 12 credits will be awarded for work done before the student begins work at St. Ambrose.
