Head Coach - Fr. Bud Grant
Father Robert "Bud" Grant begins his seventh season as the head coach of the men's soccer
program in 2007.
Grant was promoted to head coach in February of 2000. Prior to becoming the head coach, Grant was an assistant and the head junior varsity coach for three seasons. In addition to his coaching duties, Grant is an instructor in theology. He also is an advisor to two campus organizations: Greenlife - the St. Ambrose environmental club and PAX - a social justice group.
Prior to coming to St. Ambrose, Grant spent six years at St. Albert High School in Council Bluffs, IA, where he taught religion and gained experience as the boy's varsity and junior varsity soccer coach.
Grant, a native of Council Bluffs, IA, received his BA in Philosophy and History from St. Ambrose. He has a Masters of Christian Spirituality from Creighton University and recently completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Ethics at the University of Iowa.

Assistant Coach - Matt Brumfield
Matt
Brumfield is in his first year as the Reserve Team coach for the
Fighting Bees in 2008. Originally from Davenport, Iowa, Brumfield played
soccer at Loras College. He graduated from Loras in 2008. |
