Our Mission: The Master of Social Work program at St. Ambrose has as its primary mission to prepare competent and ethical social work professionals for enriching lives and fashioning a just society.
Our Purposes: Consistent with the purposes and principles of social work, the mission of the St. Ambrose program seeks to further the well-being of people and to promote social and economic justice. The program emphasizes the empowerment of client systems and the promotion of a just society as it prepares graduates to practice competently, ethically, and with theoretical understanding of diversity, human behavior and social contexts.
