St. Ambrose University and Community Symphony Orchestra (SAUCSO)

Begun in the fall of 2001, the St. Ambrose University and Community Symphony Orchestra provides SAU students and community musicians an opportunity to perform music of the orchestral repertoire. The orchestra rehearses Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. in Madsen Hall in the Galvin Fine Arts Center on the campus of St. Ambrose.

OPEN REHEARSAL TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY
AUGUST 29TH, AT 7PM!!

All interested musicians in the University and throughout the community in the Quad Cities area (strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion) are invited to attend the Saint Ambrose University Community Symphony Orchestra open rehearsal, where you will simply play! All experienced players ages 12 and older are invited to participate and no prepared material is required to attend. Just be warmed up and ready to go at seven! Players will be rotated in their respective instrument sections throughout the rehearsal. Auditions will only be necessary for wind players if there is an overabundance of interested instrumentalists in any given section.
