2009-10 Roster and Schedule Released

St. Ambrose head men's volleyball coach Bill Gleeson released his 2009-10 roster and schedule today. With only eight upperclassmen on the roster, Coach Gleeson is optimistic about the upcoming season.

"We may be young, but the talent is there," said the fourth-year head coach. "These guys have been working very hard up to this point and I see that continuing all season.”

The only seniors on the squad - Ryan Schneider, Scott Paulson and Rob Branningan - will be looked upon to provide the Bees experience and leadership all season.

The Bees' schedule consists of 30+ matches, including a home tournament (the Fighting Bee Classic March 5-6), a spring break trip to Florida to battle conference foe Warner Southern, and a trip to play new conference opponent Siena Heights University in Adrian, Mich. The most promising part of the 2010 slate comes at the end of the year when SAU hosts the NAIA National Tournament April 22-24, 2010.
