I was promoted to Professor Emeritus in 1996, semi-retiring after 39 years of teaching at St. Ambrose University. Starting with the Fall semester of 1996, I will only teach a reduced load and only in Fall semesters

I graduated from St. Ambrose College and earned the Arts Master and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Political Science from the University of Illinois.

During the fall semesters, I teach U.S. Foreign Policy and International Politics.

As an active computer user rather than as a Computer Scientist, I have taught Introduction to Computer Science and Advanced Micro Computer Applications for Business for the Department of  Computer Science.

SPECIAL INTERESTS
I have been very active in upgrading prosthetic standards in Mexico and was instrumental in establishing the Asociacion de Protesistas y Ortesistas de la Republica Mexicana. I had the privilege of establishing the continuing education program and delivered the inaugural lecture series for the Association.

I also established a long term relationship with the Instituto Mexicano de Rehabilitacion, spending many Summers working with the Prosthetic and Orthotic staff.

I have also assisted the Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social with its program of amputee rehabilitation and lectured in many locations including the Hospital General. (The teaching hospital for National Autonomous University of Mexico.).
