|
Welcome to the St. Ambrose University's Occupational Therapy Assistive Technology (AT) page. This site is dedicated as a resource to the advancement of our patient's independence and safety using AT as well as the Occupational Therapist's advancement of knowledge and proficiency in the use of AT. Congratulation to Christen for her 1st place finish in the Student Maddak awards at the AOTA conference at Minneapolis MN. Christen invented a device to assist an individual with a spinal cord injury to open up a gas cap on her adapted van.
Christen receiving her award. If we can’t bring a patient’s physical level up to a point of functioning in a given environment, then we have to adjust the environment to their level. Jon Turnquist OTR/L |
