Post-Secondary Disability Services Graduate Certificate

Program Overview

The Post-Secondary Disability Services Graduate Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals who want to further their education while continuing their employment. The program is delivered through an accelerated online hybrid model incorporating distance learning through BlackBoard/Eluminate. Students who complete the certificate program will gain increased knowledge to improve their ability to do their job; open opportunities to move up to another position or to direct the general office or become a specialist in one of the specific fields of disability services; and make opportunities to move from a student services office to the disability services office.

Program Structure

Students take one eight-week long course at a time, meeting online once a week for eight weeks. Two courses can be competed during the fall term, two courses in the spring term, and one course during the summer term; allowing students to complete the certificate in less than a year.
