CAPTE/APTA: Accreditation in  Physical Therapy

The entry-level DPT program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).  CAPTE does not currently accredit post professional DPT programs.  The next regularly scheduled site visit will occur in 2010.  The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education may be contacted at CAPTE /APTA, 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314, (703) 684-2782; accreditation@apta.org. 

St. Ambrose University is accredited through The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  The University has degree authority to award the Doctor of Physical Therapy.
