Veterans Students Responsibilities
Veteran students at St. Ambrose have ongoing responsibilities to Veterans Affairs. DVA and the Veterans Coordinator at St. Ambrose closely monitor each veteran student's enrollment status and academic program, as the student's entitlement is based upon the number of credit hours for which the student is enrolled. Veteran students at St. Ambrose must do the following:

  • Notify the Department of Veterans Affairs any time you withdraw from a class, change your schedule or drop out of school while the term is still in progress.
  • Notify the Records and Registration Office as a courtesy if you decide to "step out" for a term.
  • Notify the Records and Registration Office if you change your degree program or major.
  • Upon earning 90 credit hours, you must declare a major and notify the Records and Registration Office.
  • When your educational benefits have terminated, notify the Records and Registration Office.
  • When you change your address, notify the Records and Registration Office and the DVA.
