Below is a list of some of our on going programming initiatives
NSS-101 Presentations - On request, members of the Sexual Assault Advocacy Team visit NSS-101 classes. We discuss tips for general safety, specifically how to reduce your risk of sexual assault and resources you may seek if you or someone you know is the victim of sexual assault.
White Ribbon Campaign - Occurs in November. The wearing of a
white ribbon signifies your personal pledge never to commit, condone nor
remain silent about violence against women. Pick up a ribbon for a friend and encourage others to
join this important campaign, and grab information on how specifically men
can help stop violence against women. You may pick up a ribbon anytime during
the campaign in the Residence Life/Dean of Students office located on the
2nd floor of the RC.
Spring Break Safety - We want you to enjoy your spring break no matter where you go or what you will be doing. There are certain things you can do to ensure your safety while you have a great time.
kNOw MORE - Our kNOw MORE campaign is designed to encourage students to learn more about sexual assault and what they may be able to do to help reduce the possible occurrence. Learn more about the facts!.
