SAU Responds

Remaining Responsive

With the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, St. Ambrose University created the SAU Responds website.

Now, as the United States continues democracy-building efforts in Iraq, it is important that we continue to have the opportunity to discuss the implications and impact of these initiatives.

At St. Ambrose, we are resolved to working toward understanding and peace among all people, not only on campus but all over the world. Please visit this site often for updates on news and events at SAU.

Discussion Topic
Because Iraq's a tribal society, it may be difficult if not impossible to set up a democratic government there. So situation needs debate on our part: What are Americans prepared to do-to bring about peace among and within many nations?
