SAU Ireland - Nursing, Occupational Therapy,
Business, and Computer Science Students
Nursing and Occupational Therapy majors who will be in
their SOPHOMORE YEAR may apply to participate in the Fall program in Carlow,
Ireland.
Nursing students can take BIOL 211 Microbiology and Nursing 300
in Ireland along with other courses; e.g. humanities, creative arts,
etc. Students in the nursing program are advised to complete BIOL
202 Anatomy and Physiology prior to their semester in Ireland. Nursing majors should consult a
suggested course of study to prepare for this semester
appropriately.
Pre-Occupational Therapy students will take BIOL 202
Anatomy and Physiology. Due to the rigorous nature of this course
at IT Carlow, upon completion of this course students will earn 8
credits--4 credits for BIOL 202, and 4 credits for BIOL 123. (Pre-OT students should consult
a suggested course of study to
prepare for this semester appropriately.)
Business students can take a wide array of courses at IT
Carlow either semester. Please see
a list of courses in Marketing, Management, and Finance.
Computer Science students will be impressed with the
facilities at IT Carlow, and can take courses at IT Carlow either
semester.
All students will also take IS 210--The Irish Experience
(3 credits) from Carlow College for
Humanities general education credit. Students may select
additional
General Education courses from Carlow College.
