Head Coach Rich Blomgren

Rich Blomgren begins his first season as head coach of the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees Women's Tennis Team this season. Blomgren has also been the head coach of the men's program for the past nine years.

Blomgren is a graduate of Illinois State University, where he received a B.S. in Finance. While attending Illinois State, Blomgren played four years of varsity tennis for the Redbirds. After attending ISU, Rich received his M.A. in philosophy from DePaul University in Chicago.

Blomgren has worked as a tennis professional in the Chicago area for twenty years.  In addition to his duties as tennis coach, Blomgren serves as an instructor in the Philosophy Department at St. Ambrose.
