Nov. 18, 2004 St. Ambrose University hosted a graduate schools program fair on November 3. The university was represented by the Graduate Stduies department, as well as member colleges to the Quad City Grad Center. St Ambrose University currently offers 12 graduate degree programs. The newest program, the Doctor of Business Administration program, allows those who have already completed a business related master's degree, to advance their education and credentials. Those that choose this degree plan will have the option to focus on areas such as organizational behavior, human resource management, strategic management, and organizational theory. The Masters of Criminal Justice program, which began in 1989, was the first graduate degree in criminal justice to be offered in the state of Iowa. Other degree programs range from occupational therapy and physical therapy, pastoral studies, social work, and special education, to business related programs like business administration and organizational leadership. The Quad City Grad Center with 14 member universities, including St. Ambrose University, offers local residents the opportunity to choose from over 80 different degrees. |
