About Me

     Hi everyone. My name is Víctor M. Vega. I'm an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa since fall 2004.  My research area is Operator Algebras, in particular Hilbert C*-modules and C*-Correspondences associated to Graph Algebras and Markov chains.  I worked under the direction of Professor Paul S. Muhly at the University of Iowa.

     I grew up in Puerto Rico, a beautiful island on the Caribbean which have wonderful beaches, a rain forest, exceptional food and  warm weather the year round.
